@Asianfanatics :

....you can't get vision correction surgery until your vision has stabilized, and that usually doesn't happen until you are about 20 or so). So Xiah has astigmatism, huh...? Most Asian people do... I wonder what's so innovative about this "Wavefront Opitmizer" surgery; why not Lasik?

*nanshi skips off to do some Google research on this new technology.

EDIT: Wavefront Optimizer is LASIK surgery. LASIK surgery is any kind of surgery that involves playing around with a laser after cutting your corneal flap. They just use a different laser.

And (according to my research) 1-2 days after surgery, you can resume your regular daily activities (although I do think running a young idol's schedule is a bit pushing it)... you just have to do the whole eyedrops and antibiotics drill. But if they're used to using contact lenses, that shouldn't be an issue. So, they're probably fine by now.

I'm curious if we'll see them wearing glasses ever again though...! Xiah looks SOO CUTE in them...! >squee!<>

    yes...LASIK surgery is not big surgery (just make your eye sight back to normal again). Many ppL choose LASIK as an alternative to wearing corrective eyeglasses or contact lenses.
